VEARA Artist Terms

These terms apply to every work you submit to VEARA as an artist — whether you upload it on your own initiative or in response to a customer design request. By checking the agreement box on the application form, and again each time you submit a work, you accept them.

1. VEARA may alter or regenerate your submitted images with AI

Please read this first, because it is the term most artists will care about. VEARA operates AI-assisted design tooling, and a work you submit may be altered, resized, recolored, cleaned up, or partially or wholly regenerated by automated systems — for example to fit a garment's print area, to remove artifacts, to substitute a customer's personal mark into a designated region of the design, or to produce product variations. What is printed or published may therefore differ from the exact file you submitted. If this is not acceptable to you, do not submit the work.

2. Publication to the VEARA catalog

Works you submit enter VEARA's review queue. If a work is approved, it is published to the public VEARA catalog, where any customer may view it and order products carrying it. VEARA decides, at its sole discretion, whether and when a submission is approved, published, held, or removed. Submission does not guarantee publication.

3. Royalty

4. Non-exclusive license

By submitting a work you grant VEARA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-bearing license to reproduce, display, adapt (per §1), publish, and sell the work on VEARA products and in VEARA marketing for those products. You keep ownership of your work, and you remain free to sell or license it elsewhere. You may request removal of an unpublished submission at any time; removal of a published design applies going forward and does not affect products already ordered.

5. Your warranties

You warrant that every work you submit is your own original creation, that it infringes no third party's copyright, trademark, or publicity rights, and that no part of it was copied from another artist's work. You are responsible for the works you submit; VEARA may reject or remove any work and may end the artist relationship of anyone who submits infringing material.

6. Customer requests

Customer design requests shown to artists are open to all approved artists. Submitting a work against a request does not reserve the request; the first submission that VEARA approves and publishes fulfills it. VEARA does not promise any artist that a given request will remain open or be fulfilled by them.

7. Use of submitted works to improve generation quality

VEARA continually improves the quality of its regeneration and quality-improvement pipeline — the systems described in §1 that adapt designs to garments and repair image defects. Works you submit, together with their review outcomes, may be used as reference and evaluation material in that regeneration and quality-improvement work. This use stays inside VEARA and its processing systems; your works are not sold or licensed to third parties for this purpose.
